Providing a reliable, competent and friendly service with the best equipment to a very high standard is what Alnwick Marquees is all about.

Believing there was a market for provision of luxury marquees at a sensible price Peter and Susie Sutherland set up Alnwick Marquees in 2005 to run alongside their farming Business. Alnwick Marquees is now established in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders as a principle provider of specialist marquees for weddings and other bespoke events for private and corporate, large and small.

Led by Ben Lambert – now a director of the business - our trustworthy, enthusiastic and jovial team will create a unique venue with the array of different layouts and accessories we now have available. We provide Marquees, furniture [indoor & outdoor] Luxury Loos, complete electrical systems including generators and lighting options, dance floors, staging We also work with selected caterers, bar providers, event organisers and venues to be able to offer complete packages with one point of contact.

Wedding are what we specialise in. We like to work with our clients to make their wedding marquee unique.
We offer a bespoke service to all our clients to make your event your own. From the first site visit when you can discuss the options available to you and tailor your specific requirements to make your day special. We have a number of partners we work with, caterers, bar services, venues and florists. Together we aim to offer a complete co-ordinated package.

Corporate Events

We can help you design a marquee to entertain your clients or friends in a marquee bespoke to your own event. We can provide a range of equipment from staging, PA systems and audio visual equipment. We now specialise in providing marquees corporate events in and around Newcastle upon Tyne, Northumberland, the Borders and County Durham. We can offer the complete package including our own generators and luxury toilet trailer as well as options of linings, lighting and furniture.


We pride ourselves that on completion of the job that the customer is entirely satisfied before we leave and we are always on call during your event.
